Romantic-Valentines-Day-Photos2  Khwaja Anas Nasarullah

Valentine died for love, Romeo also died for love, Jack in titanic died for love, Samson in the Bible died for love,
Greek heroes Hercules & Achilles died 4 love. Even Jesus Christ died for love! where are the women?
Don’t buy any woman a Valentines treat this year until she gives u atleast 5 names of women who died for love… Because no woman would die for love…

We are Muslim, we don’t celebrate Valentine’s day. We kill, hate, lie, cheat, rape, & binge, because apparently God is cool with these?

Happy Singles Awareness Day!

Hassan Askari

well Happy Valentines day everyone. Reminds me of past relationships and a past love from long ago…but that doesnt make me feel sad either.
Seems more like reason for hallmark to sell cards and restaurants to over charge for the same food. I mean, if I’m in love with someone wouldn’t everyday be like Valentines day? ahhh just ramblings of single man… have fun and remember to play twister in bed with ya partner😉

WHAT IS LOVE IN ISLAM?
Love is the natural feeling and emotion that takes place in human’s heart so we love Allah, our parents, our children, friends, our husband/ wives.
To put this love in our hearts is no one else but He,Himself, our RABB, Who has Created us and knows everything about us. Islam encourages us to express our emotions and love at all times, as the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wasallam) said: “If a man loves his brother, let him tell that he loves him.” [Abu Daawood]
Allah Loves and wanted us to Love Him, in Quran so many places Allah Talks about Love.
Allah says I would Love you if you follow my prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wasallam).
Also He Says:

“And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who reflect”
Then why we have problem when it comes to celebrate this Love?
Because Allah Wants to see the love in the pious relationships, He has made the relationship of a man and woman a sign to reflect upon, the base of this relationship is on that natural instinct or attraction which He has put in every young male and female so the generations of human being keep growing. If this attraction will not be there we can’t have family, but this is Satan who makes sure to turns this pious love into the lust.
Allah has made only one valentine day for husband and wife which is their wedding day. After nikah Allah puts the love in husband and wife’s hearts as prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wasallam) said. Now as far as the question, how to expresstheir love, it should be shown every day by being caring to each other, forgiving small mistakes of each other and respecting each other and each other’s differences. It should not be celebrated only on 14th February.
One of the article “Love in Islam” at Suhaib Webb says:
“So the question many Muslims have is, “What is the ruling on taking part in any of the traditional practices of this holiday?”
The vast majority of scholars hold it to be prohibited to buy, sell or take part in anything that is related to this holiday. They base this ruling on a few reasons:
1.They are seeing it lead to social problems in the Muslim world, especially the recent skyrocket in dating and romantic premarital relationships.
2.It is a day in which a lot of fornication happens and even small children are encouraged to start engaging in premarital relationships.
3.It is imitating the disbelievers in their religious practices. The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wasallam)said, “Whoever imitates a people is one of them.”
4.It is rooted in the religious practices of non-Muslims so it is an innovation which must be rejected.
1.It is a holiday and all holidays except the two `Eids are innovations religious or not.
A handful of other scholars don’t feel that there is anything conclusive evidence that prohibits Muslim married couples from taking this opportunity to recognize and commend their love for each other and doing something special together.”
The only thing to remember that “HAYA” is the part of faith (IMAN) A Muslim society needs to promote HAYA as The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wasallam) said: If you don’t have HAYA then do whatever you like to do.
As a Muslim we don’t want to do any and every thing following the others and leaving out HAYA behind. May Allah Guide us to the right Path. Ameen
