This electricity pole was severely damaged by a carelessly driven truck months ago on the street in front of Ahsan Manzil in the capital. The authorities are yet to remove the pole, which could tumble with all its high-voltage cables and cause casualties. Photo: Rashed Shumon

How can the safety be ignored by DESA? It is so frightening to look at? It seems no one governs this country. The Minister and energy adviser responsible should be grilled and made to resign from their positions. But no nothing will happen. The P.M. as usual will turn her back and remain supportive to their negligence and then she will claim to have achieved miracle. The D.S. has done a commendable job to expose it to people. Even it crashes down and human lives are lost no one will be accounted for.
