The time to say “FAREWELL” has come

Dhaka Nawab Family Newsletter

 (Vol.19 – No.11 November 2011 )

EDITORIAL

As all good things must come to an end, the time has also come for us to say Farewell to the Dhaka Nawab Family Newsletter with the next issue, God willing, in December 2011, after completing twenty years of Publication. This has become necessary as your Editor has not been well for sometime, is under medication and, has been advised by his doctor not to sit by the computer for too long and to take as much rest as possible. ……..

However, if there is any person, male or female, in Pakistan or abroad, willing to take over and continue this project from January 2012, I shall be glad to give him, or her, every possible help and guidance.

Anyone interested to respond to this offer may please get in touch with me as soon as possible, but, not later than 15th November 2011. I may be contacted on my e-mail – sayeed425@gmail,com – or my mobile telephone number 0300-292-1903.

We owe a deep sense of gratitude to Syed Belal Hassan, Anas Khwaja, Arshad and Sania for introducing the Official Website of the Dhaka Nawab Family – www.nawabbari.com – and giving the DNF Newsletter a prominent place in it. I feel confident that it will make suitable arrangements to fill the void if we do not have the pleasure to receive a positive response from anyone. I would request family members to kindly.make it a habit to visit the Website – www.nawabbari.com – whenever they have some time to spare.

…………..

Before I end, I wish to remind all members of the family and readers of the Newsletter that the next issue, God willing, in December, will bring the Newsletter to a close. Materials for the last issue, unless we have a volunteer, should be sent by 25th November. May the Lord Almighty bless all readers of the Newsletter and members of their respective families, health and happiness by His grace and mercy.

  2. Iftekhar Hassan Says:

    Salaam Sayeed Mumma,

Wishing you and your family good health. Indeed many in DNF members are in debt to you for all the information and communication which your great news letter made possible. You will remain in everyone’s heart for your great work.

Before there was no internet, I remember your reporter/correspondencein Dhaka, Khawja Serajul Islam, son of Khawja Noor Mohammed used to collect information for your weekly. Many around Gol Talab use to get together and listen to your weekly/monthly news about their love one’s in Pakistan and other parts of the world.

May Allah grant you and your family long life with good health and happiness,

    respectfully,

    Iftekhar Hassan
