The building condition of Gourichanna Nawab Salimullah Secondary School at Borguna Sadar Upazilla being vulnerable, it may collapse at any time, causing casualties to both life and property, sources said. About 1000 students are reading in this school risking accident. Plaster has been falling on floors, bricks being exposed and cracks developing through which rainwater trickles, disturbing classes and official works. Head Master Anowar Hossain Khan said, the said school was established in 1948 and developed in 1968 into a 90 feet long one-story building of six rooms. Later, the second- story was constructed accommodating four more rooms but in absence of reforms, the entire sch-ool building is in the poor state, summoning over hauling and repairs in no loss of time.
