5th death anniversary of Amberin Azam

The fifth death anniversary of Amberin Azam, wife of SM Shahed Al Azam will be observed today (Sunday), says a press release. She was a renowned enterprising personality, hospitable and devoted social worker. To mark the day, reciting from the Holy Quran and special prayer will be offered at Sir Nawab Salimullah Orphanage Mosque. A visit to her grave has been arranged at the Nawab family graveyard at Begum Bazar Dhaka. On this occasion, an elaborate programme has been arranged at Shazadi Latifa Khatun Orphanage Forkhania Madrasa at Azam Bari Chittagong which will be followed by the recitation from the holy Quran, special prayer session and feeding the destitue.

    I request all family members to pray for my older sister,who breathed her last on may the 3rd 2004,which was also the day of milad-un nabi.May allah grant her eternal peace,and grant her jannat.
